Heat 2 tbsp, of oil add sliced onion, fry till brown. Add to the blender, also add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies and cashew nuts, bit of water. Puree into smooth paste.
Now in the same pan, heat ghee and oil add the whole spices and the chicken, saute for 6-7 minutes. Add dry spice powders. Mix well.
Add the green masala paste. Saute for 3-4 minutes. Then add salt, lime juice and 1/2 cup of water. Put the lid on, simmer till cooked.
