Fruit Cake
Ingredients
200g dried cherry
250g self raising flour
225g butter
175g caster sugarn
3 large eggs
2 tsp. of vanilla essence
100g ground almonds (makes the cake extra crumbly)
1/4 cup milk
Method
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees, prepare a baking tray.
Rub the tutty-fruity in 1 tsp. of flour, that way they won't sink down to the bottom and won't get burnt.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add all the wet ingredients in a seperate bowl, whisk together, add gradually to the bowl of dry ingredients.
Bake at 170 degrees for one hour.
