1 cup urad daal. washed and drained
6 peppercorns, crushed
1/4 cup fresh coconut chopped
1/2 tsp. hing
salt to taste
12 curry leaves
1/4 cup cashew nuts, roughly chopped
2 cups oil for frying
Add chopped onions, green chili and coriander.
Add the daal to a blender, blend into a smooth paste. Take out in a bowl.
Add all the other ingredients.
Heat oil to fry, add big tbsp full of quantities of batter and fry at low heat till golden brown.
