Rawa Idli With Peanut Chutney

Ingredients

    For chutney:

  • roasted peanuts - 1 cup
  • garlic cloves - 2
  • dry red chili - 4
  • cumin - 1 tsp
  • green chili - 2
  • coriander - 1 cup
  • salt

    For rava idli batter:

  • semolina/rawa - 1 cup
  • buttermilk/chaas - 1 cup
  • salt

Method

  • Add oil in a pan and add all the above ingredients for the chutney, roast for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Add the mixture in a blender and blend into a smooth chutney with salt to taste.
  • To make Idli Batter, add rawa and buttermilk in a bowl and mix well.
  • In a hot Idli steamer pour the batter in greased idli utensil and cook for about 10-12 minutes.
  • Once steamed, let the idlis cool and serve them with chutney
