Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, allow it to crackle.
Add chopped ginger and garlic, sauté till starts to appear golden. Add whole red chilies.
Add onion sauté till golden.
Add green chili, and cooked daal, mix well. Also add chopped tomatoes, simmer for 2-4 minutes and switch it off. Stir in some lemon juice and sprinkle chopped coriander.
